Meet the Arrowheadz. A crew of heroic misfits, here to preserve the culture and history of graffiti, one story at a time. From deep within the archives, your Arrowhead has sourced an insightful transcript about the United Artists Collective and their legacy on the New York City subway. - begin transcript - The United Artists have been regarded as the one of the most important collectives in New York City subway graffiti history. With membership spanning back to the late 70s, some of the most iconic and recognised subway art can be traced back to this crew. They painted primarily passenger trains, but also did work on freight cars as the subway system expanded and Mayor Ed Koch's 'Quality of Life' campaign had major impact on the subway painting community. Many of these works are published in revered publications, including Martha Cooper and Henry Chalfant's 'Subway Art'. - end transcript - For the full story, visit cutt.ly/Arrowheadz-Archives Terms Of Sale As the purchaser of a Arrowheadz NFT, you’re granted limited personal non-commercial use and resale rights of this NFT.
